I am Lavanya Venkateswar from Sammamish, Washington. I have been passionate about art from a very young age. I love to draw, paint, crochet, knit and dance. Through the years I have explored each art form deeply and lean on art both for peace and happiness. Art has always allowed me to connect with nature and my community. Through each of my art forms, I find new ways to bond with others and give back to our society. These days I enjoy painting with both my girls, who enjoy art as much as I do.

I am also a martial art enthusiast with a 2nd dan black belt in Taekwondo and Brown 4 belt in Karate. I enjoy being an endurance athlete having completed 12 half marathons, 2 triathlons, a muddy buddy and am on the lake washington adult swim team. Being active and good nutrition go hand in hand. I believe in that both in my personal life and professional life. I have deep food industry experience for the last 20 years, starting off as a food scientist and now leading marketing and technical sales teams. I am very proud of having created some cool food products including California Pizza Kitchen single serve pizzas, Ghirardelli brownie mixes, Krusteaz pancake and cookie mixes, Red Lobster biscuit mix and Starbucks frappuccinos.
