Haritha Kamakoti is a Redmond based artist, she currently works at Amazon as a Senior Manager in Talent Acquisitions. Between all the hustle of being a working mom of two kids and three dogs, Haritha finds her solace in painting and teaching paintings. She comes from a family of artists and has been inspired by her Mom’s artistic talent since childhood. She uses oil and acrylic medium and loves mixing different mediums to create something new. She believes that painting allows a person’s mind to relax and let go of all the problems that contribute to a high stress level. She provides free classes for adults and her objective is to provide a space for folks to find a way to relax their mind through painting. Most recently her focus has been to expand her classes to special needs kids with an intention to provide a safe and joyful space for the kids. “What matters is that you enjoy the journey of making a painting, it is your time, your painting and your inner feelings that flow so don’t stress on how beautiful the painting turned out but focus on feeling grateful for the time you gave yourself and for creating your own masterpiece."
